Chamberlain Scholarships

Undergraduate Scholarships

Chamberlain will help you identify all your financing options, as well as helping you apply for the financial assistance you need. More than 85% of Chamberlain students receive some form of financial aid. Financial aid is available for those who qualify in the form of federal and private loans, scholarships, grants, and work-study to those who qualify. REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIPS

  1. Acceptance in a Chamberlain Degree Program.* (Employees of DeVry Inc. or any DeVry Inc. institution are not eligible).
  2. If a student is eligible for a special Chamberlain tuition rate (e.g., military rate, alumni rate, or more than one scholarship), the option that is in the student’s best financial interest will be applied.
  3. Scholarships will not be awarded in excess of tuition within each semester.

* Navigate to Nursing participants are only eligible for the Navigate to Nursing Scholarship.

Dean's Scholarship

A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance for students who have shown exceptional academic performance.

$1,250 per session (up to $22,500)

Verification Requirements: Transcripts from all institutions attended

Eligibility:

  • Acceptance into a Chamberlain pre-licensure program
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale from all institutions attended
  • Graduated high school more than 12 months ago
  • Meet or exceed at least one of the following minimum scores:
    • 85 on the Chamberlain admission assessment (A2)
    • 24 on the ACT (composite score)
    • 1100 on the SAT (critical reading and mathematics reasoning sections)
  • Personal statement, references and interview
  • Minimum of 12 credit hours enrolled in first semester

Continued Eligibility:

  • Minimum 3.5 CGPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Minimum of 12 credit hours per semester

    Next Generation Scholarship

    A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance for recent high school graduates who have shown exceptional academic performance.

    Eligibility:
    • Acceptance into a Chamberlain pre-licensure program
    • Meet or exceed at least one of the following minimum scores:
      • 85 on the Chamberlain admission assessment (A2)
      • 24 on the ACT (composite score)
      • 1100 on the SAT (critical reading and mathematics reasoning sections)
    • Minimum high school CGPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
    • High school graduation within last 12 months
    • Personal statement, references and interview
    • Minimum of 12 credit hours enrollment in first semester

    Nightingale Scholarship

    A need based scholarship providing tuition assistance for students who have demonstrated exceptional need.

    $1,250 per session (up to $22,500)

    Eligibility:

    • Acceptance into a Chamberlain pre-licensure program
    • Minimum of 12 credit hours enrollment in first semester
    • FAFSA Expected Family Contribution (EFC) falls within the range of $0 to $10,000 for initial qualification
      • Note: Student does not need to meet this criterion for continued eligibility.
      • If the student is selected for verification, the verification process must be completed so that the resulting EFC can be used to determine eligibility.
    • Personal statement, references and interview

      Navigate to Nursing (N2N) Scholarship Program

      A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance and fees* to allow qualified high school seniors to begin earning college credit toward their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree while still in high school. All credits are completed under the predetermined Navigate to Nursing scholarship program curriculum.

      • Submission of official high school transcripts
      • Submission of application and parental consent form for applicants under the age of 18
      • Review and approval by the Chamberlain Admission Committee

      Eligibility:

      • Limited to seniors from high schools recognized by Chamberlain
      • Minimum high school CGPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
      • A letter of recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher

      Chief Steward Scholarship

      A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance for students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and a commitment to community involvement.

      $500 per session (up to $8,000)

      Eligibility:

      • A minimum of 12 hours of Chamberlain coursework with a minimum CGPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
      • Enrollment in a pre-licensure program
      • History of involvement in community organizations, Chamberlain organizations, and activities
      • Personal statement, references and interview
      • Minimum of 12 credit hours enrollment per semester

      Continued Eligibility:

      • Minimum 3.25 CGPA on a 4.0 scale
      • Minimum of 12 credit hours per semester
      • 48 volunteer hours per semester in community organizations, Chamberlain organizations and activities

      President's Scholarship

      A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance for students who have shown exceptional academic performance.

      $750 per session (up to $4,500)

      Initial Eligibility:

      • Acceptance into Chamberlain's RN to BSN online degree completion option
      • CGPA of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale in original nursing program
      • No scholarship application is required
      • Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per session to receive the award

      Continuing Eligibility:

      • Minimum CGPA of 3.8 on a 4.0 scale
      • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per session
      • Maintain good academic standing

      NOTE: Students who do not meet continuing eligibility requirements can be awarded the scholarship again if they later meet the continuing eligibility criteria.
