Chamberlain’s Military Education Liaisons help you determine the benefits in which you qualify and provide helpful tips on how to access them. Some of the most common benefit options available to military students are listed below: Military Tuition Assistance (or TA), GI Bill, VOC Rehab, National Nursing Education Initiative (NNEI), and the Yellow Ribbon Program.
This scholarship is only offered to full time permanent status VA employees who have a job code identifier of 0630 (Registered Nurse). To determine your eligibility contact your HR and/or Education Benefits Director/Manager at the VA Medical Center in which you work.
Chamberlain is a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program. The Yellow Ribbon program is a voluntary agreement between Veterans Affairs and Chamberlain that allows eligible students (current and newly admitted) to have 100% tuition covered. The Yellow Ribbon benefits include:

Chamberlain’s deployment policy makes it possible for active duty service members and their dependents to attend school without worrying about the “what ifs.” If you need to deploy or PCS during the semester simply fill out the Deployment Form and contact your Chamberlain Military Education Liaison. They will make sure your paperwork is processed and walk you through any additional steps you need to withdraw from the course without penalty and will help you re-enroll when you are able to do so.
Chamberlain offers qualified registered nurses special military tuition rates. These tuition rates vary depending on military status (such as active duty vs. retired military). The table below provides Chamberlain’s tuition rates for military service members. Rates vary depending on current military status.

In order to understand what the cost of your Chamberlain education, it is best to speak directly with one of our Military Nursing Education Specialists. The Specialist will assist with walking students through the transcript ordering process. Once you are ready to apply, you can request a full transcript evaluation to understand which credits will transfer towards your carefully chosen Chamberlain program of study and help you to know exactly how many credits you’ll need to complete in order to earn your Chamberlain degree.
