Nurse Leaders Discuss the Future of Nursing Education
On the occasion of Nurses Week, and to introduce the NLN Chamberlain Center for the Advancement of the Science of Nursing Education, Susan L. Groenwald, PhD, MSN, president of Chamberlain College of Nursing, joins Beverly Malone, PhD, RN, FAA, CEO of the National League for Nursing, to discuss the role of evidence-based nursing education and the scholarship of teaching in the advancement of the nursing profession.

New NLN/Chamberlain Center Announced
Chamberlain College of Nursing and the National League for Nursing have partnered to establish the NLN Chamberlain College of Nursing Center for the Advancement of the Science of Nursing Education. The NLN/Chamberlain Center will promote evidence-based nursing education and the scholarship of teaching, enabling the expansion of NLN programming in nursing education research. Chamberlain is proud to be the inaugural Elite Partner to join the Campaign for the NLN Home for Transformative Excellence.

Dr. Janice Unruh Davidson is recognized for leadership contributions to nursing education and collaborative community mentoring
Janice Unruh Davidson, PhD, RN-BC, FNP-BC, NEA-BC, CNE, FAANP, a graduate professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing, is to be inducted as a fellow into the National League for Nursing’s (NLN) Academy of Nursing Education on Sept. 21, 2012 at the annual NLN Education Summit in Anaheim, Calif. Dr. Davidson is one of 32 distinguished nurse educators being inducted this year, joining the 117 fellows representing nursing schools and programs throughout the United States.
