In the end, our graduates can enter the workforce sooner, and begin making a real difference in people’s lives.

Tuesday, May 31, 2016 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM EST
Our BSN program is designed for entry-level students looking to begin their career as a nurse. Chamberlain students begin nursing courses as early as the end of their first year of classes. This is because they are not required to complete general education coursework before being eligible to apply to the nursing degree curriculum.
The BSN degree program combines general education and nursing courses into an education that provides the experience and skills needed for a lifetime of personal and professional growth.
Overall, you need 122 total credit hours to earn your BSN, which includes 66 credit hours in nursing-specific courses and 56 credit hours in liberal arts and sciences courses. For Ohio students who were enrolled prior to May 2016, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program consists of 129 credit hours, with 60 credit hours in liberal arts and sciences and 69 credit hours in nursing.

Students are taught by seasoned faculty members, including currently practicing nurses and professional educators who stay up-to-date on healthcare practices, principles and technology.
Chamberlain students hone their nursing skills in safe, simulated learning environments. They go hands-on while under observation by faculty in realistic healthcare settings. This extensive training lets them become competent and confident nursing professionals.
Additionally, by fulfilling clinical requirements, students receive meaningful, real-world training in actual healthcare delivery environments. This experience takes place under the supervision of a professional nurse who acts as the student’s preceptor.
Outside of the classroom, students have supplementary resources available to help them complete their degree program and succeed as a professional nurse, including:
