Phi Pi Chapter
Formerly known as the Chamberlain College of Nursing Honor Society, the Phi Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Nursing Honor Society was chartered on October 20, 2011. The Phi Pi Chapter of STTI celebrates scholarship, research and academic excellence of undergraduate and graduate nursing students, as well as the achievements of professional nurses. Our mission is to support learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference worldwide.
As one of the newest chapters of STTI, we further our honor society’s mission by offering our members the vast resources of one of the most respected nursing organizations in the world. Founded in 1922, STTI now has chapters in more than 20 countries, with more than 130,000 members worldwide*.

Dr. Linda Hunt is an associate professor at Chamberlain College of Nursing’s Columbus campus. She brings more than 17 years of combined nurse management and instruction experience to her role.
Prior to joining Chamberlain, Dr. Hunt served as an assistant/associate professor at Mount Carmel College of Nursing for nine years and, most recently, senior quality manager for evidence-based practice at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
Dr. Hunt’s graduate research focused on quality outcome and benchmarking studies, and she has presented at health conferences nationwide, including the Ohio Association for Healthcare Quality State Conference and the American Thoracic Society International Conference in San Francisco. She was recognized as a Meritorious Award Winner at Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield’s 14th Annual Ohio Hospital Quality Educational Conference in 2008. Dr. Hunt is a member of SigmaThetaTau.
Dr. Hunt earned her PhD in nursing/exercise physiology from The Ohio State University, a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Valparaiso University.Linda Hunt, PhD, MSN, RNPhi Pi Chapter President
