Chamberlain University understands that securing financial assistance is an important component for students to begin their educational journey. The Excellence in Education Scholarship has been created to support new BSN students with exceptional academic scores in select Chamberlain campus locations.
Scholarship Amount: $500 per session (up to $5,000).
Initial Eligibility
- Eligible applicants must apply and be accepted into the BSN Degree program at an approved Chamberlain University Campus or BSN Online.
- Campus locations in Houston, Irwindale, North Brunswick, Sacramento, and Troy are ineligible.
- The student must be a new student. Continuing/Readmit students are ineligible.
- Must have an average HESI A2 custom score of 75 or greater
- Proof of graduation with a minimum of a 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale from a Chamberlain-recognized high school or an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education (CHEA).
- Students must enroll in at least 5 credit hours per session.
Non-matriculating students are not eligible for this Scholarship.
Note: Students who are eligible for multiple Chamberlain University grants and scholarships, including group-specific tuition rates, can only receive the grant or scholarship that is the most beneficial. The Excellence in Education Scholarship is not stackable with any other Tuition Benefit Chamberlain offers.
Continuing Eligibility
- Meet the eligibility requirement of 5 credits per session for 10 consecutive sessions to receive full scholarship funding.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater
- Remain in good academic standing for the full term of the offering.
Scholarship Application Requirements
- Chamberlain will review admission application materials and award the scholarship to all eligible
students.
